Gary Mazzu - Artistic DirectorGary J. Mazzu has been directing for the theater professionally for over 22 years. His directing credits include several of Shakespeare's works such as Twelfth Night or What You Will, A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Comedy of Errors and Two Gentlemen of Verona. Gary has also directed world and regional premieres of Larry Bograd's Ludlow, a critically acclaimed production of Lee Blessing's A Walk in the Woods, and the one man show To Bury Caesar in Denver, Colorado. Gary had the distinct pleasure of directing Jamie Farr (Klinger of MASH fame) in the mystery/comedy/thriller Catch Me If You Can at the Mount Gretna Playhouse in Pennsylvania in the summer of 2000. He followed that in 2001 by directing with and performing with Gary Burghoff (Radar from MASH) in Tribute also at the Mount Gretna Playhouse. The summer season of 2002 found Gary once again directing at the Mount Gretna Playhouse. This time it was Bill Christopher (Father Mulcahy from MASH) in a rather poignant production of God's Man in Texas. For the past 21 years, Gary has been Artistic Director of the Colorado Renaissance Festival. He has worn many hats over the last decade at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire as Artistic Director, Executive Producer and as an Entertainment Consultant. Gary also found time to direct at MGM Studios and Epcot for Walt Disney World. Gary spent over a decade teaching undergraduate courses in theater and communications at Metropolitan State College of Denver, The University of Denver, Millersville State University, and Slippery Rock State University.
